The AMAZONTM VA-Locking Radial Head Plates 2.4 mm provide two plate options for treatment of complex multi-fragment fractures of the radial head. The VA-Locking Radial Head Rim Plate is designed to fix complex and/or comminuted fractures of the radial head requiring subchondral support. The VA-Locking Radial Head Buttress Plate is designed to fix osteotomies and fractures in the neck region of the radial head, particularly impacted fractures requiring buttressing. This plate shape allows a combination with isolated headless compression screws outside the plate for additional subchondral support. Due to their anatomical fit, low plate profile and ease of bending, the plates may help to reduce soft tissue irritations.
