The complex anatomy of the pelvic ring and acetabulum involve complex surgical exposures and demands exact anatomical reduction to achieve positive functional results. Designed to treat a wide variety of challenging pelvic fractures, the MANTARO™ Pelvic Plating System contains a wide range of implants, reduction instruments, retractors and instruments for screw and plate fixation for the operative treatment of pelvic and acetabular fractures. Indication-specific plates are offered, as well as reconstruction-style plates to address a variety of fracture patterns that may occur. The complete MANTARO™ Pelvic Instrument Sets have a wide range of standard instruments for screw insertion, plate adaptation (bending instruments) and fixation during reduction for preliminary and definitive stabilization of pelvic and acetabular fractures. The pelvic reduction forceps and other reduction instruments within the instrument set are designed to aid the surgeon with fracture reduction of pelvic injuries. The pelvic retractor set provides more options to aid the surgeon in achieving good visibility within the chosen approach.
