Lapidus arthrodesis is an established standard procedure to correct various foot surgery problems and hallux limitus, hypermobility of the first ray, hallux abductus valgus, and symptomatic lesser metatarsal. The VOLGA™ Locking Lapidus Plates 3.5 mm provides a streamlined construct with robust fixation. The unique plate design provides surgeons with multiple placement options to best accommodate patient anatomy and surgical strategy. The lapidus plate is recommended to be used in combination with a single or two crossing 3.5 or 4.0 mm partially threaded cannulated interfragmentary screws for the most stable construct. The VOLGA™ Locking Lapidus Plates 3.5 mm utilize variable angle locking, fixed angle locking and compression screws. Additional compression of the joint can be achieved by Distraction/Compression Device.
